Pizza – Meal Kit Recipe

  1. Take your dough balls out of the fridge around 20 mins before you start.
  2. Find a clean and dry work surface.
  3. Dust work surface with the flour.
  4. Press and stretch the dough ball out with your hands / fingertips to make a 10” pizza base.
  5. Preheat the grill at its highest temperature.
  6. Place a frying pan (big enough for the pizza base – ideally non-stick) on a high heat on the stove.
  7. Once the pan is very hot place the pizza base into a completely dry pan.
  8. Spoon on and swirl the tomato sauce.
  9. Drizzle the olive oil, sprinkle the parmesan, grated mozzarella, basil leaves and any other toppings.
  10. Cook on the stove on a high heat.
  11. Check every 20 / 30 seconds under the pizza with a spatula, when golden brown (around 2 mins).
  12. Slide Pizza from the pan onto a baking tray and place under the grill until all the cheese has melted and the crust is golden brown (ensure if you have a frying pan with a plastic handle it is not under the grill).
  13. Your pizza will be very hot! Slide out of the pan onto a chopping board, cut into slices and enjoy your work!
